How to set up a UK limited company from Pakistan

A UK limited company is a good base for selling to the UK and Europe and for a Wise business account. You can form and run it from Pakistan. This is what it costs and what has to be filed each year.

Setting up

  • Company formation: £149, including the £100 Companies House fee
  • Director identity verification: £40 + VAT (Companies House now requires it for every director)
  • Full package: £239
  • A Wise business account is possible with a UK company

What a UK company files every year

  • Confirmation statement: once a year to Companies House (£50 government fee)
  • Annual accounts: to Companies House within 9 months of the year end. Late fines run from £150 to £1,500, doubled if late two years running
  • Corporation tax return (CT600): to HMRC within 12 months of the year end
  • VAT returns every quarter, but only if the company is VAT registered (compulsory above £90,000 of sales in 12 months)

Our yearly plans

Instead of paying for each filing separately, one yearly plan covers everything and we remind you before every date. Companies House fees and filing software are passed on at cost.

  • Trading company: £250 a year (accounts, CT600, confirmation statement, identity statements, reminders, routine HMRC and Companies House letters)
  • Dormant company: £99 a year
  • VAT add-on, four quarterly returns: £199 a year

Already behind on filings?

An overdue past year (accounts and CT600) is £179 per year, with penalties separate. We can also write a penalty appeal for £39, or close a company you no longer need with a strike-off.
