How to form a US LLC from Pakistan
A US LLC lets you sell on Amazon, Etsy or Shopify, take card payments through Stripe and PayPal, and receive money through Payoneer. You do not need to travel or live in the US. This is how it works, what it costs and what you need to keep it in good standing.
Which state to choose
For most online sellers and freelancers, New Mexico or Wyoming is the right choice: both have the lowest yearly running cost. Choose Texas if you have a reason to be there, for example you want a Texas seller permit.

What the price includes
- The state filing fee
- A registered agent for the first year (the official US address for state and government mail)
- Your EIN, the company's US tax number, which you need for bank, Payoneer, Stripe and Amazon
- Optional: a unique suite number only for your company, usable for Payoneer or a bank, for $50 a year
- Optional: a seller permit for $25 in every state except Delaware

We set up Payoneer, Stripe, PayPal and Amazon Seller Central for $49 each, with you on a screen-share session for the verification. Approval is always the provider's own decision. Mercury and Relay are closed to owners who live in Pakistan.
Every year after that
- Federal return: Form 5472 with a pro-forma 1120 for a foreign-owned single-member LLC, $149 a year. A multi-member LLC files Form 1065 instead, $260.
- State annual report: Wyoming yearly compliance (registered agent renewal, annual report and reminders) is $99 a year plus the state fee; annual reports for other states are $49 plus the state fee.

Common questions
- Can a Pakistani resident own a US LLC?
- Yes. A US LLC can be owned by someone who lives outside the US. You form it remotely; no visit is needed.
- Which state is best for e-commerce?
- New Mexico ($249) or Wyoming ($299). Both have the lowest yearly running cost.
- Can you open Mercury or Relay for me?
- No. Both are closed to owners who live in Pakistan. Payoneer, Stripe and PayPal work, and we set them up for $49 each.
- What address does my LLC use?
